Meet The Owner: Melanie Pieper

My name is Melanie Pieper. I decided to open a daycare and boarding business of my own to be the one who controls how the animals are welcomed and treated. When you work somewhere else, you don't get much say about how it is run. If you don't like the way the animals are treated, you may not be able to get anyone to listen to you to make changes. I decided that the best way to make a change is to be the one in charge. This allows me to make sure that every animal that comes in is treated kindly and with love regardless of type or temperament. Let Your Dogs have a Day Full of Play

I have always had a love for animals of all types. I myself at times have had a mini zoo. I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, rats, and even a hedgehog. I have loved and lost animals that still hold a special place in my heart. Some of my animals have been from rescues and others from breeders, but loved just the same. I believe that when you welcome an animal into your home they are now a part of your family. My current family members consist of our introduction dog Ana (Cattle Dog Mix)Dante (Chihuahua), Jetta (German Shepherd), Jax (German Shepherd), Elsa (Tortoise Shell Calico), Manny (Tabby), Freya (Lynx Point Siamese), Ezio (Cameleon), and Sven (Domestic Short Haired Cat). My human family and I work together to make sure our fur family are happy and healthy all the time.
